SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

NGORONGORO

Eden of Africa: One among of the 8th wonders of the world and the second largest intact crater in the world. It has a spectacular vast population of wildlife. The crater rim was wooded with mountain forest vegetation with oval in shape and 20 Km in diameter.

TARANGIRE

A Park with scattered baobab trees alternating with acacia woodland open bush, plain swamps, river and stand of palm trees, Big game and birds are abundant. Northern Zone

The Maasai of Tanzania are an indigenous pastoral society with a rich and vibrant oral history. Their traditional knowledge, often narrated in the form of folktales, songs, stories, poetry, and chants, contains a wide-range of knowledge about traditional medicine, grazing practices, and the gathering of wild plant foods. Maasai pastoralists represent the highest degree of pastoral specialization in the Eastern-Sudanic region of East Africa.

Datoga Tribe residing along the banks of the Lake Eyasi in Tanzania, Similar to other local tribes, particular the Maasai, they value livestock highly and use it for their livelihood. Datoga people are traditionally nomadic, often moving throughout the extensive region, herding their cattle and putting their ancient agricultural skills to use wherever they happen to settle.

Hadzabe is an indigenous ethnic group living around Lake Eyasi in the central Rift Valley and in the neighboring Serengeti Plateau and they are among the last hunter-gatherers in the world. The Hadza’s oral history of their own past is divided into four epochs, each inhabited by a different culture. They slept under trees, as the Hadza do today in the dry season.

RESERVATION AND PAYMENTS

Busibell African Safaris pre-planned trips represented on this web site tend to sell out fast, As such, early reservations are recommended to ensure availability of space. A 50% deposit per person is due to Busibell African Safaris at the time of reservation. If deposit is not received at our offices within 7 days from the date of reservations, booking/s is/are subject to cancellation. Any change/s made to the reservation/s will incur a processing fee of $30 per change after receipt of deposit. Final payment is due to Busibell African Safaris at the arrival date. If the reservation is made within the last 60 days of departure (and if space is still available), the entire tour price must be paid at the time of reservation. Credit cards for deposits will be accepted. Balance payments are requested to be paid by wire funds transfer, or if paid by credit card, will be subject to a 3% processing fee.

PRICES & RATES

All price rates are charged in United States Dollars and are per person. These prices are in effect at the time of reservation and are subject to change at any time prior to departure. Quoted tour prices are based on current rates of exchange, tariffs and taxes as of the date of your reservation. Busibell African Safaris reserves the right to increase tour prices to cover increased costs of tariffs, taxes, park fees and fluctuations in foreign exchange markets.

TRAVEL DOCUMENTS

All participants must be in possession of a passport valid for 6 months beyond the re-entry date into the United States. A visa or visas may be required for some or all of the countries visited on the holiday or tour selected. Please check your visa requirement/s at time of booking. Busibell African Safaris will NOT provide visa information and application forms. Busibell African Safaris recommends a reliable visa service that will assist in obtaining visa/s for nominal fee/s. Non U.S. Citizen/s may have different requirements. It is the passenger’s responsibility to ensure that all his or her visa and passport requirements are met.

 CANCELLATIONS & CHANGE

Note: ALL cancellations must be received by Busibell African Safaris in writing; cancellation/s will be effective when the written notice is received at Busibell African Safari`s offices in Arusha, Tanzania.

If a cancellation is received after Busibell African Safaris in possession of the initial deposit, but more than 60 days prior to departure (or 90 days if applicable), the cancellation fee incurred will be $250 per person. If cancellation is received between 59 and 45 days prior to departure the fee incurred will be 30% of the entire tour price. Or, if final payment has been received before 60 days prior to departure, and cancellation occurs, the fee incurred will be 35% of the entire tour price. Cancellation/s received between 44 days and 30 days prior to departure will be charged a fee of 50% of the entire tour price. NO REFUNDS whatsoever will be made for cancellations received within the last 30 days prior to departure.

UNUSED SAFARI ITEMS

No refund will be made for any unused accommodations, missed meals, transportation segments, cruise portions, sightseeing tours or any other service. Such unused items are neither refundable nor exchangeable (no exceptions).

REVISION FEES

A handling fee of $30 per transaction is charged for any alteration or revision made to a reservation. Spelling corrections to client’s names after tickets have been issued will be subject to airline revision fees. Courier delivery costs may apply if any changes are made within five weeks prior to departure. A change of date or itinerary within 90 days of departure will be treated as a cancellation and new booking; in this case regular cancellation fees apply.

 PHOTOGRAPHS

Busibell African Safaris reserves the right to take photographs during the operation of any program and to use resulting photographs for promotional purposes. Any passengers who prefer that their images not be used are asked to notify their tour escort at the beginning of the program.
